Pong Milestones - NOTE TO SUB: Please have students take a few moments to fill out the Athletic Interest Survey HERE OPENING QUESTION: None Today LEARNING TARGET: I will continue working on my PONG program during today's class. WORDS O' THE DAY:
WORK O' THE DAY: PONG SPECS are HERE Sorry I'm out today. Please continue working on your pong game. Senseis and rookies who might be interested--- please click here to see the "Ask" and "Tell" function blocks. Those blocks allow you to communicate from one sprite to another. The "Ask" blocks let you get information from another sprite such as position and pointing direction just as you would if you were communicating with the current sprite. The "Tell" function block works much the same, but in reverse. You can use the "Tell" block to move another sprite or change the direction of another sprite. It is VERY cool. Remember, Senseis MUST use Ask and Tell. Rookies, if you are comfortable using those I encourage you to do so but you don't have to. Please submit a copy of your work at about half way through class (8:00 o'clock or so) to our usual place and select "Pong: Milestone 2" See you tomorrow (Thursday!) ═══════════════════════════
